Rehabilitation

The Lyndoch Living Rehabilitation Service offers both centre based and home based programs run by trained professionals to assist individuals who have difficulty with mobility in an effort to reach their health goals and live safely at home.

Our programs address difficulties with the following areas:

  • Upper limb
  • Daily living activities
  • Continence
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Counselling and support
  • Cognition and memory
  • Reduced socialisation
  • Falls and balance

Working closely with general practitioners and specialists, our team will tailor a program to suit the individual. We provide treatment for a wide range of conditions including:

  • Orthopedic – joint replacement and fractures
  • Arthritis and osteoporosis
  • Neurological conditions – stroke, Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis
  • Pain, weakness, reduced mobility or difficulties with daily tasks

Our unique Rehabilitation in the Home program offers all of the aforementioned services with an aim to support clients, 18 years and older living in Warrnambool and surrounding districts, who wish to remain living safely in their own homes. The one-on-one treatment is offered in the client’s home for those unable to attend centre-based programs.
